0:31.3	Hey, everyone. Welcome back to another week of A Year in the Bible. I'm Beth, and I'm here with my co-host, Alexa.
0:37.5	Hey, everyone. We are excited to study the Bible again with you this week. This week, we are looking
0:42.7	at Ezekiel 36, 26, to 27, and Romans 8, 1 through 4. And we're going to see how we are given
0:49.5	the Spirit of Christ, who helps us walk in obedience to God. So today we're going to be going over our annotations for Ezekiel 36-26-26 through 27.
0:59.0	So, Alexa, can you read that passage for us?
1:01.7	Sure.
1:02.6	I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you.
1:05.6	I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
1:09.3	I will place my spirit within you and cause you to
1:11.9	follow my statutes and carefully observe my ordinances. So Beth, tell us about how you annotated this
1:18.2	passage. Wow. So this is another passage from the prophetic books in the Old Testament. And so I think
1:23.5	that we have all probably noticed a pattern that has emerged in these prophetic passages,
1:28.2	and that is the use of the phrase, I will.
1:30.7	So for the last few weeks, we have seen this phrase and talked about how it shows us God's
1:34.9	power, his faithfulness, and his determination to bring about his sovereign plan.
