0:33.7	Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm here with my co-host, Beth. Hi, friends. We are excited to study
0:39.2	the Bible again with you this week. Over the course of this next week, we're going to be looking at
0:42.9	Jeremiah 31, 31 through 34 and Luke 22, 14 through 20. And we will see that it is through Jesus's
0:49.9	death that God establishes a new covenant with his people. Yes. So today we'll be discussing our
0:56.1	annotations for Jeremiah 31, 31 through 34. So let me start off by reading that passage for us.
1:03.7	Look the days are coming. This is the Lord's Declaration. I will make a new covenant with the house of
1:09.5	Israel and with the house of Judah.
1:11.6	This one will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors on the day I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt,
1:18.6	my covenant that they broke even though I am their master, the Lord's Declaration.
1:23.5	Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the House of Israel after those days, the Lord's
1:28.3	declaration. I will put my teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God,
1:33.7	and they will be my people. No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,
1:38.8	know the Lord, for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them. This is the Lord's
1:43.8	declaration, for I will forgive their iniquity least to the greatest of them. This is the Lord's declaration,
