for the week, Katie. Hey, everyone. So far this week, we have looked at Psalm 8 in the Bible. My name is Alexa and I'm here with my co-host for the week, Katie. Hey everyone.

So far this week we have looked at Psalm 8 in the Old Testament and now we're going to look at

John 15 1 through 5 in the New Testament. So today we'll be discussing the annotation day on John 15 1 through 5.

That reads, I am the true vine and my father is the gardener. Every branch in me that does not produce

fruit, he removes and he prunes every brand that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit.

You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me and I and you. Just as a branch is

unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine,

neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. The one who remains in me

and I and him produces much fruit because you can do nothing without me. So Katie, how did this

annotation day go for you? Yeah, I really love today's annotation day. There is just so

much packed into these five verses. One of the annotation prompts that stood out to me was the third

prompt that instructed us to circle the three rules noted by Jesus and God's Vineyard. I think it's

such a simple prompt, but it really does hold so much meaning for the passage.

I found that the gardener is God, the vine is Jesus, and the branches are us.
