Hey everyone. This week we have looked at 2 Samuel 7, 12 through 16 and Luke 1 32 through 33.

And we have learned that Jesus is the fulfillment of the divot covenant and currently reigns at the right hand of God. We want you to now consider what we learned about Jesus and apply it to our own lives.

So, Alexa, how do you plan on applying the passages from this week?

Yeah, I think for me, I want to consider more the importance of giving Jesus my allegiance than a daily basis.

When I think about Jesus being king,

I often take comfort in knowing that nothing is beyond his control, which just helps me in

the moments I'm experiencing suffering, or I feel like I'm way down by horrible events that's

happening in the world. So I think I tend to primarily focus on the comfort side of Jesus being king,

but Jesus being king also means that Jesus deserves my complete allegiance. When we come to

faith in Christ, we acknowledge that Jesus is not just our Savior, but also our Lord, and we give

our lives to him. But as Father of Christ, we are to

continue to give our lives to Him by following him and worshiping him and holding him first place

in our lives. And I think it can be hard for me sometimes to think about submitting to Christ
