0:38.3	This week we have annotated and discussed 2nd Samuel 7 and the promises God gave to David
0:43.8	about a king who would come from his line, as well as a king who would rule over an eternal kingdom.
0:50.4	Today, we are turning to the New Testament now to discuss the annotation on Luke 1 32-33.
0:57.8	That reads, He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David.
1:06.0	He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will have no end.

1:16.8	will you share with us some of your annotation takeaways? Yes. So I first wanted to talk about the attributes of God that we see in the text. I really enjoy continuing to see God's character
1:22.0	in both the Old and the New Testament. So in this passage, I think we see God's power specifically. It says in
1:29.5	verse 32 that the Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David. So that shows us God's
1:36.1	power and that he has the authority to give this king the throne. Verse 32 also says this king will be
1:42.6	the son of the Most High. The name Most High also describes
1:47.2	God's power. It also describes God's sovereignty because it shows us that God is the one who is
