0:33.7	week of a year in the Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm joined as always with my co-host
0:37.8	Beth. Hey, everyone. This week we are going to be studying Deuteronomy chapter 30, verse 6 in Romans
0:43.9	28, and we will learn that Jesus is the one who changes our hearts so that we can obey the Lord.
0:50.5	So today, we're going to start off the week with an annotation day on Deuteronomy chapter 30
0:54.8	verse 6, which says, the Lord your God will circumcise your heart in the hearts of your descendants,
1:00.6	and you will love him with all your heart and all your soul so that you will live.
1:05.2	So Alexa, tell us how this annotation day went for you.
1:09.0	It was good, but kind of hard at the same time. You know,
1:12.4	we are only looking at one verse here in Deuteronomy so that can make an entertaining kind of
1:17.5	hard, so you don't have too much to look at. But I do think there are still things to note,
1:22.0	and I'm excited for when you get to talk about this verse in more detail tomorrow. For any words or phrases that point to Christ,
1:30.0	I highlighted, love him with all your heart and all your soul for two reasons, because one,
1:36.7	Jesus does that perfectly. He loves God with all his heart and soul. But then two, because Jesus
1:43.1	says similar words in the gospels when he is talking to
1:46.5	the rich young ruler. We actually talked about one of those instances in the Gospels, Matthew 22,
