0:33.1	Bible. My name is Beth, and I'm here with my co-host Alexa. Hi, friends.
0:38.1	Today we are going to be talking about how we plan on applying the passages that we've
0:42.6	looked at this week.
0:43.6	So, Alexa, how are you going to be applying these things this week?
0:48.1	Yeah, I feel like this week really challenged me to embrace the access I have with God.
0:54.0	Jesus took on flesh so that he could
0:55.8	restore us in our relationship with God and to give us access to him without any restraints.
1:01.4	So now as followers of Jesus, we have God's presence with us always and have the ability to come
1:06.8	to him and pray to him whenever we please. But I have to confess that I'm not always aware
1:12.2	of God's presence with me. And that's why one of the spiritual disciplines that's weak for me is
1:17.5	prayer. Because I can't see God often go about my day not thinking about him, which then results
1:23.8	in me not communing with him through prayer. But this week has been such a great reminder
1:28.9	of what Jesus did so that I could have access with God. Him coming to earth and taking on
1:34.6	flesh is one thing, which is amazing enough. But Jesus then went on to die on the cross,
1:40.1	sacrificing himself so that he could remove our sin that separates us from God.
