0:33.7	the Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm here with my co-host, Beth. Hey, everyone. Today is the last day
0:39.6	of week 13. So we are talking about how to apply the passages that we've been studying from Exodus and
0:45.5	Matthew. And can you believe that this is the last study day in volume one of Christ in all
0:50.4	of Scripture? So great job to all of you listening who have completed one fourth of
0:55.2	this year-long study. That is not a small task. Yeah, and I hope that encourages you to keep going, too.
1:01.9	Okay, Beth, would you share with us how you plan on applying what we learned this week?
1:06.2	Yeah, I think there are two main applications that I've pulled from this for my own life, and they work together.
1:11.6	The first one is that I don't need to keep the law in order to earn God's favor.
1:16.6	He has already showed me his favor through Christ, and there's nothing that I can do to change his opinion on me, because when he looks at me, he doesn't see me.
1:24.6	He sees Christ who loves me and gave himself for me. The first one is that
1:29.1	I don't need to keep the law to earn God's favor. He has already showed me his favor through Christ,
1:34.2	and there is nothing I can do to change his opinion of me. Because when he looks at me, he sees Christ
1:39.3	who loves me and who gave his life for me. Yeah, that's so freeing, and I think that helps us to
1:44.9	obey God because we do so without this pressure to earn God's favor. Okay, you said there were
