Alexa. Hey friends. Today we are going to be talking about how we are planning on applying

what we've learned this week from Exodus 17 1 through 7 and 1st Corinthians 10 1 through 4.

So Alexa, do you want to share your application takeaways? Yes, this week has made me a bit convicted about how easy it is for me to seek satisfaction

apart from Christ.

Yesterday we talked about how Exodus 17 1 through 7 and 1st Corinthians 10 and 1 through 4 point

us to the ultimate provision that we have in Christ.

Because Christ meets all of our spiritual needs, he is the only one who truly satisfies us. But man, how easy is it for me to know that Jesus is the one who

satisfies me, but I still look to other things for satisfaction. Pretty recent, I realized that I place a lot of satisfaction in experiences. I moved from Seattle

to outside of Philadelphia last year, and it's taken me a long time to feel content with that

change. I was thinking the other day that I'm feeling more comfortable and settled, which is really

great, but it's still really easy for me to make comparisons between

where I live now and where I used to live, causing me to want to have the same things that I had

there. So living in the city of Seattle, I was super used to going to coffee shops, bookstores,
