0:30.7	Hi, friends. Welcome back to Year in the Bible. My name is Alexa, and I'm here with my co-host, Beth.
0:36.1	Hi, everyone. Today we're going to be talking about how we plan to apply all that we have learned this week.
0:41.9	So Alexa, what were your takeaways from studying these passages?
0:45.8	You know, one of the biggest takeaways for me came from the first question in this
0:50.0	application day that asks, in what ways do you accurately represent the character of your
0:55.2	father, God, in your everyday life? I felt like this question was a bit of a gut punch,
1:00.7	because I'm sure that I don't accurately represent God's character that well daily. I do try
1:07.3	to be obedient to God and ask him to work through me to be patient and kind and
1:13.3	forgiving but so often I'm prone to complain be short with my words rather than kind or selfishly
1:22.1	want to withhold forgiveness rather than extend it. What about you Beth? How did you answer this question? Yeah. So I actually
1:29.9	wrote this week and this question, and I remember even back then when I wrote it, how convicting it was to
1:35.7	even just think of the concept of imaging Godwell. And it is just as convicting now as it was back
1:41.6	then. I really don't image Godwell in so many ways. So often I'm
1:46.0	judgmental towards others. It's easy for me to hold grudges and don't even get me started on my
1:51.8	tendency toward pride. None of those things reflect God's nature. So yeah, I'm with you.
1:58.0	Yeah. And so in light of all of that, I'm just so glad that in the midst of our
2:02.4	failures to accurately represent God's character that Jesus was the perfect representation for us.
