From the shores of Lake Como here,

Season 4 in American Tragedy.

I'm your host to a friend, your earlover,

and literary mansplainer, in-cheep,

supine on my Airbnb bed, where I am recording this episode.

We've been in Italy for a week so far. It has been in utter delight, although I confess that

our Italian sabbatical has taken shape now after about a week of being

here.

And what we've discovered is we're not really up for anything.

I mean, we're doing a little bit here and there, but mostly we're just hanging out,

looking at the water, eating lunch, well, luxuriating,

taking naps, drinking apparel spritzes, and, you know, just doing very little,

which is not so different from our lives back in the States just with better views.

The lake here, the Lake Como region, just gorgeous.

I mean, I'm stating the obvious.

Everybody already knows that.

When you think of Lake Como, you think to yourself, oh, that sounds gorgeous.

And it is.

Because it's dotted, you know,

there's all these lakes around here in this lake region, and Lake Como, I think is the largest

in the region. But there's all these little towns that surround it. And each one of the towns
