Ian Black. This may be my final recording from these here, Pocono Mountains. I think we are

returning to sultry, Savannah, next Saturday. I usually record on Sundays, and so yeah, I believe this is the last of those.

And then I will be moving to New York City for 10 weeks to resume production of,

Have I Got News for You? Now, in the past couple seasons, I have been

commuting from Savani up to New York City, but this time out, I'm going to live in New York City

for the following reason. I don't trust our air traffic system anymore, not that I'm afraid of crashing, but that I have experienced

so many delays over the last six months or so that I don't want to get stranded at another

airport trying to get home and then have to turn around and come right back to

New York City after a couple days rest.

So I'm going to be living in the Big Apple.

First time I have lived in New York City since, oh, 1998, 1999, something like that.

I mean, I've lived there for, you know, brief,

brief stints, but not that long in a row. Kind of looking forward to it. The fall, if you've

never been to New York City, the autumn is when you want to be there. September, October,

November, fabulous time of year in New York City. So that should be pleasant. Also, my daughter

is now living in New York City, so I'll be able to see her. And then, of course, you know,

my love for opera, so I will be attending the opera on a nightly basis. I will confess here that

I have never been to the opera and am unlikely to go to the

opera. The closest I ever got was, after my, I want to say, sophomore year of college,
