Today's story is so wild and it's one that only came

onto my radar pretty recently and I don't know how I never heard of it. I don't know how

I didn't hear about it when it happened. It's fairly recent. And did I mention that it is wild?

I learned about this case from TikTok, actually.

It was a video from one of those accounts that plays the audio from 911 calls.

And the TikTok didn't say anything about it being a Michigan case.

And no, I couldn't tell by the accents.

But that 911 call was so chilling, so chilling that I was just kind of like, oh, shit, I need to go look this up. I need to see if this is even like real. It's that insane that I literally thought it was made up at first. But what happened is very real.

And it happened right here in the mitten. So when Patreon Super Freak, Rebecca Barrett asked me to cover

a survival story for her chosen episode, which choosing the topic of an episode is a benefit

that Super Freaks get. I knew that this

was the one that I wanted to tell. And just like the rabbit hole that I dove into on this case,

we're going to start today's story with that chilling 911 call. Now, this is new territory for us. I have never played a 911 call

on the show before and I very well may never do it again. But this one, in particular,

like the transcript just isn't going to cut it. You have to hear this one for yourself.
