Hello, Louis Theru here and welcome back to my podcast called The Louis Theru Podcast.

0:15.0

Today I'm joined by Sean Evans, the co-creator and host of the YouTube sensation, Hot Ones. It's a show on YouTube

0:23.2

where he talks to people. If you haven't heard of Hot Ones, where have you been? It's the show

0:28.9

with heart questions and even harder wings, a celebrity interview format where the guest has

0:34.1

to eat their way through a platter of spicy wings, each one spicier than the last.

0:38.7

And the idea is that the increasing inferno in the guest's mouth

0:44.4

disables them from answering coherently, which is funny.

0:48.5

Or possibly that they're being disarmed by what's happening in their mouth,

1:02.5

Since its inception, the show has produced 26 seasons and 358 episodes as of time of recording,

1:09.6

amassing over 4 billion views.

1:13.6

Sean estimates he's eaten over 3,000 wings during the show's run.

1:17.3

And yes, I have been a guest on Hot Ones.

1:19.9

My episode is available on YouTube.

1:22.3

We reference it.

1:24.2

I'll tell you at the end how many views we have because that comes up

1:26.8

and maybe the suspense will be helpful in keeping your interest to listen to the whole episode.

1:32.3

This one was recorded in August of last year.

1:34.7

Sean joined me remotely from the Spotify studio in New York.

1:37.9
