There's this paradox in philosophy called mctaggerts socks.

And the basic idea for it is that if you have a pair of socks and you get a hole in them and then you patch them,

they remain in the same socks, but if you keep getting holes and you keep getting patches in those socks,

at what point do those socks become something else?

Are they still the same socks you always had or after you've patched them so many times

with so much new material and nothing of the old material can we truly say

the socks we have now are the socks we had at the beginning.
