In this episode Kerry is joined by celebrated Kirtland Historian Karl Anderson, who probably knows more about Kirtland than anyone else alive. Karl teaches about the stunning amount of times Christ, and even the Father, were seen in Kirtland. The resurrected Christ was seen more times in Kirtland than in any other place we know of. Explore with Kerry and Karl the transcendent stories of Christ's appearances and what we can learn from them.

0:31.3	This is our special Easter edition, and we're doing something different, and I'm so excited about it.
0:36.2	It's fantastic.
0:37.2	Today, we're right at the junction of the church moving to Ohio and come follow me. Next week, we're going to have McLean Heward on and we'll read Section 37 and 38 and the command to go to Ohio and so on.
0:52.3	And from there on out, we're going to have for a long time the church centered in Ohio and
0:56.3	Missouri, and we'll go back and forth between the two.
0:58.3	But we're going to talk a lot about Ohio.
1:00.7	So as part of that, today we're going to focus on appearances of the resurrected Christ

1:06.9	It's a fantastic way to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ when he appears
1:13.2	reading more times than anywhere else that we know of as a resurrected being in Ohio.
1:20.1	And so to me, that seems like just a fantastic way to celebrate it.
1:23.6	And as a part of that, we have the person who's literally written the book on this. We've got

1:34.2	It is really my pleasure. Maybe I'll tell the audience just a little bit about you. I will,
1:38.7	first of all, just hold up the book. We love this book, my wife and I. It's by Carl Anderson. It's called The Savior
1:45.9	and Curtland. And you can see, this is both from my wife and I, maybe more her than me,
1:51.6	but we've got all sorts of pages turned down. It's dog-eared, highlighted, notes everywhere.
1:57.7	It's just a really fantastic book and bears a fantastic testimony of Jesus Christ.
2:02.7	So let me just tell the audience a little bit about you, Carl.
2:07.8	Carl ended up moving to Curtland early in his career, and you can correct me on this or expand on it if you'd like, but lived in Kirkland for a long time, served as the stake president in Kirtland when it's organized
2:18.6	and and so on, but has done, I think, more research on the Kirtland period than anyone.
