0:31.0	and I am in the podcast studio with faithful watermark member, Matt Hein. Thank you for having me.
0:36.8	You're so welcome, Matt. We just met today. So I'm excited to get to know you better. And I'm also excited for our listeners to get to know you better. So would you share a little bit about how you came to know Jesus, what that looked like for you? Absolutely. So I'm an engineer and I come from a family of engineers, which is a little weird. But in influences, it's very weird.
0:55.9	My mom and dad are both engineers and all my brothers are engineers.
0:58.6	Oh, wow.
0:59.1	Everyone.
0:59.7	Everyone's an engineer.
1:01.3	And so that really influenced me at a young age because I tried to approach my faith intellectually
1:06.3	and trying to understand it from my head knowledge but didn't really get the heart knowledge.
1:11.1	Okay.
1:11.5	And that became very clear in college where self-sufficiency really became a big part of my story.
1:16.9	And the decisions I made, the things that I did led me to more and more isolation and loneliness and ultimately a lot of unfulfillment.
1:26.2	And so that was a very dark point in my life and a low point in my life.
