I'm subbing in today for Emma Daughter, and I'm the students director here at Watermark. And I am so glad that we get the opportunity to spend some time reflecting on Ezekiel chapters 22 through 24. I'm here with former Watermark staff and continuing Watermark member, Sarah, how we doing today? We're good. Why don't you just share a little bit more about your story and how you came to know the Lord and how you ended up here at Watermark? Great, yeah. So I grew up in a Christian home with parents who loved the Lord, loved each other, loved us as kids, and I was homeschooled my entire life. Ended up in church a lot because we used it sort of as like a social outing. That's where all my friends were since I was homeschooled. And my dad was even on staff at a church for quite some time. So I feel like I lived at church for a lot of my growing up life. What that means is that I knew a lot about the Lord. I knew what it

1:33.5

whenever I was around the right people. But my faith didn't really journey with me outside the

walls of the church. So I, on a daily basis, was not walking with the Lord. Definitely made a

1:43.6

profession of faith whenever I was

1:44.9

young, mostly because my older sister walked down the aisle, and I thought that was what I needed to do.

1:50.2

And then again, in junior high, high school time, I had another moment where the Lord just kind of

1:55.2

grabbed hold of my heart, but it wasn't this daily walking with the Lord. And so really,

2:00.5

after high school, young adult ministry, is where I really started to walk

2:05.1

with the Lord daily and just come to know him and love him more.
