Thanks for joining. Today, we are reading Jeremiah 8 through 11, and I am in the podcast studio with one of our Join the Journey volunteers and former intern, Lauren Frickie. Hi. Lauren, it is so good to have you back.

0:25.4

You've been on the podcast a good handful of times, right? But it's been a little bit. So would you just

0:31.2

catch us up on what's going on in your life? You've had a big milestone. Yes, and May I graduated.

0:39.0

So yay. And then I'll be going to Dallas Baptist University in the fall. I move in almost exactly a month. So I'm super nervous,

0:45.3

but I'm also getting really excited. And what are you studying? I'll be double majoring in their

0:50.1

program called PBE. It's politics, philosophy, and economics combined. And then I also hope to

0:55.2

major in Spanish. Oh, double major. So yeah. It's going to be a lot of fun. Which you serve at Watermark

1:00.4

in Espignal. And I'll be able to keep doing that because I'll just be in the area still.

1:23.9

And the roommates I got assigned and all the mentors I'm going to get and just the

1:28.5

program and the people who are going to be in my program, I'm just really seeing God picking all

1:32.3

those people like to put in my life and just really seeing that even though I didn't make that

1:36.0

decision until really late. God had me the whole time. And I'm starting to see little bits of that

1:41.2

fruit already even before moving in. I love it. If you were to ask our listeners to pray maybe one specific thing for your class,

1:51.1

seniors who've graduated, they finished the high school ministry shoreline here at Watermark,

1:55.4

they're heading to college. What would be your prerequisite?

1:58.4

Probably as they go onto these college campuses or whatever they're

2:02.9

doing this next stage of life, that they build their routines and they build their daily patterns

2:07.6

around scripture and God's Word and that they don't leave that when they go off to college.
