it is great to have you back on the podcast. It's been a while. Yes, it's great to be here.

For those who didn't listen to your last episode, granted it was maybe a year, year and a half ago, would you share a little bit about what God's done in your life and then what you're up to today?

Oh, I love to. Well, I was an Army kid and my dad shared the gospel with me when I was little. And when I was six, I asked Jesus to come into my heart.

And I knew that he died on the cross for me.

And I wanted to accept that gift.

But when I was in a, I'd probably say high school, I was kind of a, oh, I don't know,

achiever type, you know, want to get A on the test.

And I knew that salvation was by faith alone, but then I started doubting,

what if I don't have enough faith? So I started kind of doubting my assurance, lacking in

assurance that I was for sure saved. So my dad walked me through just the points of that it's not

the amount of faith, it's who my faith is in. So that really

solidified some assurance for me that I, again, it wasn't this test that I had to perform

because that would a muster up enough. Yes, because that would make it, again, it would make

it a work. If it was the amount of faith, it would turn it into a work.

And we know from Ephesians 2,8,9, that it's by grace, and it's not anything that we can boast about or strive for.

So that gave me the assurance that I had been lacking, and I can go back to that sometimes of like, it's who my faith is in it's not up to me so that was that's just

part of my salvation story and of course even after that I learned more about my own sin and more
