Why do our words matter so much? How do our word effect those who hear those words? In today's episode, Emma Dotter talks about Proverbs 12 and shows us the contrasts between the words of the righteous and the words of the wicked. As believers, what we say matters deeply because

speech reveals the heart, reflects our dependence on Christ, and we can either build up or destroy.

And I think this is a principle that we all know well. All of us, I think, can reflect on our

lives and recall something that was said to us that hurt

and I shared the first study I'd ever written with an elderly, faithful woman in my church

she believed not just in me, but in the

work God was doing and would continue to do in and through me. And even though it's been quite a few
