This is Ben Craichie, production director here at Watermark, and I am joined by my friend, worship leader, and just

overall incredible person, John Abel.

Oh, absolutely.

John, again, I did this with Hayden, who was so much fun a while ago.

Hayden and I got to sat down and do an episode together, but this is fun as well because we

work together. We're

friends. We've gotten to talk a lot. But for people who might just know you as a worship leader

from stage, tell us a little bit about yourself. Yeah, absolutely. So I'll give you just a little

background of my story. Born in Alabama, raised in southern Louisiana in Baton Rouge, great

upbringing, amazing parents.

In fact, speaking to my parents, before they were married, my father was a monk, a trappist monk, for over 20 years.

And my mom was a nun, which I won't say anything more about that.

But if you have any questions, feel free to find me and ask me about it.

But I came to saving faith when I was 17 years old, I was invited to a youth camp

and met Christ in a hotel room. And I have never been the same sense. That's when I realized

that I needed a savior and I realized that who my savior was in Christ. And so a few months later,
