All right now, if we're honest, reading the Bible consistently can be a challenge, but it's never too late to start and we're in this together.

Welcome back, everyone, to the Join the Journey podcast.

0:14.9

My name is Christy Shermack, and I'm here in the podcast studio with Cassie Matina, who will introduce in just a second. This month during the

0:22.5

month of June, we are reading through the Psalms and our worship and production teams are joining us on the

0:28.0

podcast to share with us some of their observations from the scripture. So Cassie, welcome.

0:32.8

Tell everyone a little bit about yourself. Where do you serve? How are you involved in our church?

0:36.7

Thank you. Hi guys.

0:38.6

So happy to be here. So honored. Like she said, my name is Cassie. And I get the privilege of

0:44.2

serving on the worship team specifically for the band at Region on Monday evenings. I get to do

0:50.4

that about twice a month. And I also get to do worship for the college ministry rally, where I also get to lead a group of girls at DBU.

0:58.9

Love that, Cassie.

1:00.2

Thank you for serving in those ways at our church.

1:36.2

1:42.3

1:45.9

fulfill. So it does kind of make you think of a messianic king to come that would actually

1:51.8

be able to fulfill all these things. Right. That makes a lot of sense. The bar was too high for one

1:56.7

human. What were some of the verses in it as you read through that maybe made that clear or jumped
