I'm a longtime listener, first time on the podcast, so sort of like him talk radio.

So I'm Kim Dickerson.

I'm married to Brian Dickerson for 38 years this summer. I am a small group leader for women's Bible study, but my real heart is working with the international students at UTD. And we serve there. Brian and I serve there together. And my daughter-in-law, Edna, has even jumped on and is serving with us.

And that's just a sweet, sweet spot to be able to serve the Lord with your family there.

Kim, what does that look like to get to serve with international students?

We meet students.

I actually meet students at the airport.

I go pick them up.

I'm the first American that they meet.

Take them to their home, help them get settled in.

I do that all summer long and then also in the wintertime when they come also.

And I am their introduction to America. So it's a really big responsibility, but it is so amazing to get to do that. And then through WISI, which is the

Watermark International Student Initiative, we host them two weekends a month on the first and third

Friday nights with a great team of volunteers. And we feed them. You know, if you offer food to college students, they will come.

And we play games with them and we discuss current topics. We talk about our faith. We do a lot of
