My name is Christy Shermack and I'm the executive director of Watermark Health.

And this week, Watermark Health is taking

over the Join podcast as we travel through the book of Leviticus. And today we're in chapter 6 through

10. As you heard yesterday, these chapters cover different laws of sacrifices and then makes the transition

into talking about the priesthood in general. I brought in my friend, Dr. Matt

Bush, to join us for the podcast today. Welcome, Matt. Hi, glad to be here. I'm so excited for

Matt to join us. Matt is the founder and board president of Watermark Health, and I've had the

opportunity to work alongside him for the last 10 years. He's been leading Watermark Health for 12.

And so the listeners

might have heard your name in that context before, but since it's your first time to join the

journey, share a little bit about who you are, what you do for a living. How did you come to know

the Lord, Matt? Yeah, my name's, like I said, Matt Bush, emergency physician by training.

I currently lead a large medical group here in the state of Texas, have been a member at Watermark

for a little over 20 years now, became a believer at a young age, though always struggled

with doubt, especially being in the kind of scientific community, if you will.

And then I would say a series of events between 2003 and 2010 or so sort of erased

that struggle permanently. Okay. Well, yes, I'm glad that you mentioned that because a lot of times

the dichotomy between faith and science can be something that keeps someone away from it.
