0:00.0	All right, all right, join the Journey family, friends, and guests. You're listening to Join the Journey podcast with your host, Emma, daughter. Thanks for joining. Today, we are reading Exodus 30 through 33, and I am joined in the podcast studio by the one and only Lauren Atkinson.
0:17.5	Hey, hey, Lauren, welcome back. Happy to be here. You know, I've got a question for you.

0:26.7	What has been something that has blessed you so far as we've been reading through the Bible cover-to-cover as a church?
0:34.8	I like that question. The thing that comes to mind is I think it's really
0:39.4	helpful that what I'm reading throughout the week we talk about on Sunday too. And so to get TA or
0:44.7	whoever is preaching on Sunday's perspective. And then I think just like looking at the pattern of
0:49.6	scripture, when you're reading big chunks, sometimes you just have a couple things that you're
0:53.9	taking away with for that day.
0:55.6	And so to go away with that being like, oh, wow, I'm seeing this pattern that keeps happening from
1:00.9	beginning of Genesis, middle of Genesis now to Exodus, this desire for God to be with His people
1:07.7	and getting to just see kind of the highlights from that because we're going
1:12.6	so fast it almost helps you get the story a little better of the big picture that's so good which
1:17.6	honestly you just really set me up super well i want to do a little review i know it's life happens
1:23.0	people get behind so if you're behind hopefully this helps get you caught up to where we are today. If you're not behind, you probably know someone who is. So you can send them this episode. It'll help them get a really, I hope, a better grasp on the story up to Exodus 3033. So Lauren, I'm going to start. And if you want to add something, you just jump in whenever.
1:46.6	All right. So we start in the beginning of the story back in Genesis. God is with people in the
1:52.5	garden, Adam and Eve. But because of their sin, they're cast out from God's presence. Yet we get a promise.
