happened in the latest episode.

Today, there is a lot to talk about, so I'll sit down with Cynthia Wu, who plays Kelly Baldwin,

and executive producer Matt Walpert.

But first, let's do a quick recap.

We begin the episode with all three ships in flight, racing to be the first to Mars.

Phoenix is in the lead.

That is, until NASA Sojourner goes full pirate mode and unfurals a solar sail to put them at the head of the pack.

Back at JSC, President Ellen Wilson returns home to celebrate the NASA mission to Mars. Just outside, Jimmy Stevens makes some

new friends at a protest over the loss of jobs created by Devayas's Helium 3. In deep space,

the Soviets are dead last and try a risky maneuver to take the lead,

but overload their nuclear engine in the attempt!

The two remaining ships need to decide who will rescue the stranded cosmonauts.

Ed volunteers Phoenix, but Dev takes control remotely and forces the Helios team to continue towards Mars.

NASA is left to save the Soviets, and the crew begins a risky tether crossing.

After saving all but one of the cosmonauts, the tether snaps, and the last Soviet and two American astronauts are killed.
