Was it great? We had a men's conference this weekend at the church at the time of this recording. Unbelievable. Yeah, great. It was super cool meeting podcast listeners who came to the men's conference. That was so much fun. Yeah, a lot of them. They came and said hello at the end. It was cool. It was super cool. Okay, pastor, today we're getting into the first recorded words of Jesus in the Bible. Yeah. First time Jesus speaks,

yeah. Are you ready? I'm sitting here with my Bible open now. Ready to dive in. Luke chapter two is

where we're going to go through. And we're going to see what happens when Jesus gets lost. How do you lose Jesus? I understand how you can. I mean, I lose my phone a lot. I lose keys a lot. I have air tags on my kids because they have a tendency to get lost. There it takes on the kids. They're saying.

Oh, yeah.

So Luke chapter 2, verse 41.

Let's start there.

And we're going to see Jesus at the age of 12.

Okay, verse 41.

Every year his parents traveled to Jerusalem for the Passover festival.

Okay, let's stop there.

Every year, what does that tell you?

Just a couple of things a long way.

What does that tell you about his parents?

They're devout.

They were devout, and they go and they participate not only in the seven festivals that

were required, but they make the pilgrimates to Jerusalem for the three Passover, Pentecost,

and tabernacles, which are the three Pilgrimates Festival.

So they're devout Jewish people, okay?

Which was a big deal.

Because they lived in Nazareth.
