Welcome back to a year in the Bible with daily grace. My name is Kristen Schmucker and today we are journeying through the New Testament in a year.

Today we look at Romans 10. In Romans 9, Paul began in a side of sorts spanning

through chapters 9 through 11, where he addresses Israel's rejection of Jesus and the

salvation he offers. Today we study chapter 10 where Paul will explain

that the Jews are pursuing the wrong means of salvation. They are attempting to earn

salvation from keeping the law, rather than accepting

salvation from the one who kept the law perfectly on their behalf.

But the Jews are not ignorant to salvation and off the hook.

Paul argues that God has made the means of salvation abundantly clear to them

and they are rejecting Jesus. Yet even in the face of Israel's rejection, Paul

prays for their salvation. Paul earnestly desires his people to know Jesus
