| 0:54.6 | Jesus is telling the parable of the Vineyard Workers. Most of us have probably |
| 0:59.3 | heard the phrase that the first will be last. So that is a helpful reference point as we dive in. |
| 1:04.6 | Here we see the master of a field hire workers. Some are hired at the start of the |
| 1:09.6 | day and some are hired later in the day. Some are even hired up until the final hours of the day, |
| 1:15.4 | and yet at the end of the day, |
| 1:17.4 | all are paid the same amount. |
| 1:19.8 | The workers that started early |
| 1:21.3 | are suddenly upset with the master even though he had paid |
| 1:24.6 | them exactly what he had promised to pay them. The parable serves as a warning for us when |
| 1:30.5 | we are upset when God blesses others with good things, |
| 1:34.0 | get how can we be upset at the generosity of God. |
