0:29.5	New Testament one chapter a day. The goal of this podcast is that we get to chat about
0:34.4	scripture for just five minutes a day and I already feel like I know you guys as we are
0:38.4	on this journey together. Today we are in Matthew 18.
0:43.4	Yesterday we saw the beauty of the transfiguration
0:46.2	and the power of Jesus.
0:48.0	Today we see some of the things
0:49.6	that we are called to as followers of Jesus.
0:52.4	We start with some more shenanigans from the disciples.
0:55.3	I hope that the Gospels are coming alive to you in a new way as we go through this study.
1:00.1	One thing that jumps off the page when we take time to sit and read the Gospels is just how real these people were.
1:08.0	They were ordinary people and though they were called by God for extraordinary things, they are so much like us.
1:15.1	So when I talk about shenanigans from the disciples, I also recognize just how much like them
1:20.4	we all are.
1:21.6	At the start of chapter 18, the disciples are asking each other
1:24.8	who would be the greatest among the kingdom of heaven.
