This is a super important theological term,

and maybe one of those words that we could read past, assume the meaning, and then move on.

But let's define it again because Paul will come back to justification today.

Justification is the act at the time of salvation by which believers are made right with God

declared innocent of their sin all because of Christ's forgiveness. A believer's slate is wiped clean. God no longer counts their sin
