As the North Korean and Chinese troops were overtaken by the UN forces once again.

The first three phases of the great communist counterattack had stunned everyone.

But the Western armies had learned from it.

And now they had pushed back with all their advanced weaponry and technology.

The last phases of the counterattack, as the Chinese call them,

would concentrate on merely holding the stalemate one by America, South Korea, and their allies.

Rather than trying to upset it.

At the same time there was a major upset on the American side.
