A guy I met Brian Ferguson at Fright Fest in the UK. He has a short that played there, and it's like the perfect seasonal short. I know this is now the day after, but it's about what we're talking about, which is pumpkin guts. That's the name of the film. It's called Pumpkin Guts, and it's basically, I think it's shot, I assumed it was England or Ireland. But it's basically 7080s. And it opens with a girl who's freaking out because all the, every year, a different kid from their class goes missing. And basically, you get, if you're the one who's called out, a pumpkin arrives on your doorstep that you have to open up and inside it has a name and directions for something that you're going to have to do to somebody else, or the thing will come for you, this pumpkin creature. And definitely, definitely, I know he's saying he wants to make into a feature. It definitely has that kind of hook, but it was a really fun short. It's like 11 minutes.
