On December 2nd, 1991, singer, songwriter, and record producer Charlie Puth was born in Robinson, New Jersey.

Puth initially gained recognition on his YouTube channel.

In 2011, he won the singing contest put on by

media personality Perez Hilton. The contest was called Can You Sing and Puth submitted

his cover of Adele's Someone Like You. The video caught the attention of comedian and

talk show host Alan DeGeneres. She signed Puth to her record label. Since 2016 Charlie Puth has released three studio albums.

His biggest single was 2015 See You Again, which he performed with rapper Wiz Khalifa.

The song was commissioned for Furious Seven and was a tribute to actor Paul Walker, who died in November 2013.

The song spent 12 non-consecutive

weeks at the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Early on December 5th,

1991, Richard Speck died of a suspected heart attack. 24 years earlier, Richard Speck

shocked the world with his haunting crime. On July 13th, 1966, he broke into a townhouse in

Chicago, Illinois that functioned as a dormitory for student nurses. In the townhouse that night

were eight student nurses who range in age from 20 to 24. Speck tied them up. He then led them one

by one into a different room where he either strangled or stabbed them to death.

He raped the 8th woman before he killed her.
