Summary

After the arrest of Rex Heuermann on July 14th, law enforcement officials descended on his Massapequa Park home to search for additional evidence. Sonar, probes and excavators were used to dig up the Heuermann's backyard while inside the house, a large number of materials were meticulously labeled and carted away. Host, Chris Mass, and Senior Producer, Shannon McGarvey, speak to a former homicide detective to find out what the process entails when gathering evidence in a case like this. Beyond that, what was the effect on Heuermann's family and where does this leave them now?
