Here. Hey everyone welcome back to Crime Weekly News. I'm Derek Lovasser and I'm

Stephanie Harlow and we're going to talk about a case that's in the

headlines right now that's Sonia Massey, the shooting of

Sonia Massey, and we're going to talk about it in a couple different ways because sometimes

we wait until all the information comes out, but I think we have enough at this point to discuss it.

There's a couple different videos that are associated with this case.

One is from the officer who shot Sonia,

and then there's been a more recent video

that was released of an officer who had his body cam footage

on the entire time, where before,

like during the interaction, which is extremely important to kind of come up to your own a conclusion here so

It's it's important for context for sure I've seen Grayson's video. I have not seen the other deputy's video footage which I think is extremely

important so we're actually gonna watch it together with you guys all the

footage for anybody who hasn't seen it and I'm also gonna discuss my own

police involved shooting.

For anybody who doesn't know I was involved in a shooting

early on in my career as a patrolman,

so I do think I have some perspective on this

that not many people in the world have and I think I'm

definitely qualified to weigh in on this because again I've been through it so

we're gonna we're gonna watch the videos before we do that for anyone who doesn't

know about this case
