Stephanie Harlow. We have a really sad story for you guys tonight. I'm going to

get right into it.

On the evening of Tuesday, December 5th, 2003,

Jacqueline Medina arrived home to find her 16-year-old daughter, Elizabeth Medina,

dead in the bathtub of their apartment.

She had been stabbed to death.

Now Liz was a cheerleader at Edna High School in Texas and she'd been

scheduled to take part in the town's Christmas parade with her cheer

squad that night on December 9th

and arrest was made in her murder. This is interesting because I was saying to

Stephanie she sent the script over I actually just covered this case on crime feed it hasn't came out yet

but I was doing all the research for the case before the arrest was made and I

had some opinions on who this person could be, but obviously the script had to change

because before we recorded the episode, they made an arrest and obviously it changed
