New technology, right, they used to make stuff simpler.

So 1970s, all that. I remember this as a kid,

oh, there's a new thing, there's a vacuum cleaner. Now we don't have to get on

our hands and knees and dustpan and brush. Now there's a new thing. It's made

life simpler. And at some point, about, I don't know, 15, 20 years ago,

the fucking assholes who make things decide, no, we're going to make

new technology that makes life fucking incomparably harder. So everything is fucking complex,

washing machines with about 300 buttons and green lights and fucking stupid silver things

flacking. Beep, beep, beep. What's that fucking noise?

And, oh, what's that button for?

That's if you want to watch the touring shroud.

That's what you need that one for.

And fucking, every single thing.

So, last night, last night, right, to the immense fucking hilarity of my son,

I got a new laptop,

and I've got the same one as I've got the, I'm recording this on, right?

The same one, seven years ago.

And now, oh, now it's got new features.

New features, that mean it is fucking literally impossible to set up.
