The reason the government won't tell us about UFOs is because of the Orson Wells broadcast of War of the Worlds in 1939.

And one other question, Jesse, I was wondering if your father was told to not talk about the Roswell crash?

Well, to answer the second question first, yes, he was told not to talk about that.

And he didn't for many, many years, but finally after about 30 years, he thought, well, maybe I could start saying something about that.

And like I said, Stan Frieden was the first one. I really got any kind of extensive interview from about that.

As far as the panic of the 1938, whatever it was, Orson Wells won't cast War of the Worlds.

You know, that was a world that was pretty jittery. You know, we're about right into World War at that time.

And the way the program was put out, it sounded real enough that it sounded like it was actually happening.

This is an invasion of some kind. But I think people now can accept the fact that we're being viewed by extraterrestrial craft.

They don't seem to be doing any horror forms. It's not malevolent. They just, I think they're just scientifically curious.

And I think most people could accept that fact without any undue alarm.

As a matter of fact, NASA has done an investigation about what will happen not if, but when they announced that,

Ross Wilk and other extraterrestrial craft have been in the skies. And most people would accept it.

I guess the ones that wouldn't, I mean, a few of the far right wing religious people would not want to accept that.

But I think most people would accept without any panic.

Do you think that aliens are among us, like there was a show in the 60s with Roy Tennis, the invaders?
