I did. I was lucky enough to host a discussion with Laurie Love at Shortwich House. Thank you, Shortch House for that.

Laurie Love is a sort of fascinating activist, hacktivist, who was recently accused of stealing data from a number of huge US institutions, including the US Army, Missile Defense Agency, and NASA.

Wow.

But won his trial, so he will not be extradited to the United States. But he's a fantastically interesting guy, super smart, super bright. And yeah, I'm excited for you to hear this pod.

Doesn't talk to many people, like massive scoop. Big scoop, yeah. Enjoy. I'm sure you, perhaps you're all here because you've read about Laurie Love,

you might have seen his case recently. He was fighting extradition to the United States. You're

probably also aware of other British hackers like Gary McKinnon who also fought extradition.

It's a huge issue right now, not just legally, but also it's an issue for all of us in

relation to what we've

been seeing with Cambridge Analytica and Facebook on our TVs recently in the news. I think this

is something that is kind of at the forefront of all my minds. It's changing the way politics is

working. It's changing the way international legislation is working. And your case is a bit of a landmark

case. And there's only a certain amount Laurie can actually talk about it,

so we're going to come to that gradually.

But I thought we'd start off talking with you first

about how you first got into hacking,

what it was that inspired you about it.

You know, you suffered from Aspergus and a bit about that and your education.
