the uh... the podcast the the scriptures are real

i'm your host kerry mulestein and this is the one that we promised would happen where I was doing an education week devotional, and it was just a great experience. I felt the spirit. I felt like things were going very, very well. And then the fire alarm went off, and we were only able to partially partially finish and i promised then that i would make this available via my podcast and uh so i'm making i'm doing

that now i want to keep that promised uh it's a a wonderful uh opportunity i'm i'm so glad that i have a way

to make this up for people and um and can help, I hope us understand something that's,

to me, a really important topic.

So we're covering the topic of some of what I learned as I wrote a book called The Easter

Connection, being made Whole by God Through Christ.

And this is, I've learned more since writing the book as I went around speaking about it and talking about it and so on.

And I just wanted to share some of the things that I learned that are touching to me and profound to me.

So I have been asking myself the question as I've thought about the atoning sacrifice of Christ.

And it's always difficult for me to talk about the atoning sacrifice and also wonderful and exciting because I think it is so important.

And I'm so well, I know so well of its transforming power and yet I know it is so sacred that there's no way that I am capable of feeling as deeply

about it as I should and I'm not capable of expressing how deeply I feel about it. And so I'm on sacred

ground anytime I talk about Christ and His atoning sacrifice. And I recognize that, and I recognize

my own inabilities to convey the profundity of what I'm talking about. So I am praying,

and I pray that you will pray that you will be touched by what I talk about today,
