I pretty much filled up my dance card since I had no family responsibility. So had a great catch-up

with our friends over at Amzwell, working out some future content with them. Marin had her birthday

week and got all registered for college, grabbed the buyer of lightning, caught up with my friend

Chris Johnson, who owns Rock Tech Off Road in La Habra in Orange County, California. Definitely one of the best off-road shops in SoCal. Had a nightcap with a friend Mike Rice and spent lots of time over techs with Bradad American Venture Lab talking about the Jeep build. And then he's also been busy with a lot of new pickup truck products. So we'll have him on soon to talk about that.

I also heard that the RAM V8 drive is coming up. So excited to see how the new truck is with the old

engine that we love so much. And for some reason, I've just been down this rabbit hole of mid-sized pickup shopping online all week,

just because it's fun.

And I was looking at, like,

what do you actually get for like a $45,000 pickup truck?

And I did all the builds and prices and all that.

And I kept coming back,

the Ranger XLT is a pretty good value. 4x4 package. And so I called up Ford and I said, you know, I haven't spent any time in the Ranger since the launch of it. And at that time, it was only the four cylinder models. But I would love to spend some time if you've got a mid-grade with a V6 and Ford came back and said, hey, we've got a Ranger XLT with the 2.7 in it and can have it for a week. So I think next week I'll have that. So hopefully they'll get a little more seat time in the Ranger around here and get out in the world a little bit. And that'll be my, I think my first truck review since the accident. So happy and get out in the world a little bit and that'll be my i think my first truck review since the accident so happy to get back in the saddle there so really excited about that

and uh the ranger for 2025 also has the new four-cylinder engine that i think debuted in the musting
