Good morning, this is the love island the morning after.

As you guys know, we had some very sad news that our colleague and friend Caroline Flack has passed away on the weekend.

I've been battling to try to come to terms with Erifit has happened, but we just wanted to take a moment to stay a few words before we start.

Erifit hasn't heard this morning, but she did leave us a voice note with her thoughts.

Hi podcast family, I'm really sorry that I can't be there for today's episode of the podcast.

I really wanted to be.

I just wanted to say some words about Caroline. I think you're probably all aware that we were close to her.

She was not only instrumental and a key part in love island and the family.

She was someone that raised both myself and came up when we became part of the show,

sending us messages and almost like a mentor. I remember the last time actually that I spoke with Caroline face to face the first thing she said to me was,

are you and came coming back for the podcast?

She loved love island and she loved love and she was really supportive of Kim and I and it really hurts to lose not only a work colleague but a friend and someone who lit up the room so much.

I think the only thing that I can say is that I hope we're all looking after each other and if there's anything that can come from this we can all recognize that we need to be kinder to each other to be more positive to raise each other up.

You know when we talk about our islanders on the podcast we try and you know our message is always that we love our islanders and we do because we love them and we love seeing their relationships unfold and then you know become building friendships and building relationships and.

You know seeing just how humans work in that environment and.

I think.

We all just need to be aware of looking out for each other and helping each other and sometimes we don't know what that help is but there are outlets like there and if you have someone who is struggling as someone who's mentioned something to you and you don't quite know how to help them then those places can really help and if one.

Method doesn't work and there are thousands of others it's just want everyone to know that we're all on this together and if anyone needs a sort of message or a virtual hall or a chat we're all here and.

I think it's safe to say that Carol and we really missed.

Really missed.
