We had a little break there, but now we're in it to win it. And it's just me today. No messy Johnny, hear to mess things up. But I do have a couple of things to say.

0:35.0

First, thank you to everyone who has sent in questions and art for me while we've been on break. I really appreciate it. I have been faking over my answers and I have been dining like a king.

Second, Jonathan planned a big announcement. But since we're not letting him on the show today, he asked me to say that Gen Z media, his podcasting company has partnered with PRX. He told me he'd put a link to it in the show notes. But the really cool thing about it is that it means new shows.

Jonathan and his friends are going to be rolling out news shows this year, starting with a game show for kids called Pants on Fire coming in March. We have a new newsletter you can subscribe to. The link is in the show notes. So that's really exciting. But not as exciting as what's going to happen right now.

If you remember what happened in the last episode of Bebop Tales, I had just defeated Messingham. I topped the two towers and was ready to head back home. So was it a beat? Oh wait. I forgot to do my Jonathan impression. Actually, you know, I figured out a new way to get into it. Are you ready? It's my John a hand chant.

1:48.0

John a hand. John a hand. Isn't here time to make real his greatest fear. Make a podcast better than his own. John a hand. John a hand. Do my show.

Ha ha. Got it. All right. Here's Bebop Tales, season three, episode one, tornado town.

2:18.0

It was the best of times. It was the best of times. That's how that saying goes right. So it was true for our handsome hard working hero, Bebop. After facing off with the dreaded Messingham, a top to two towers, Bebop had said one simple word.

2:42.0

Home and a portal opened, bringing him back to interdimensional space, where lonely delivered what he said was his greatest gift for Bebop. A portal back to his home planet.

2:58.0

His return to the percolator robot factory was like a king returning from battle. He was hoisted atop the shoulders of his brothers and sisters and carried around the town.

3:18.0

He was washed of the dust from the rubble of the towers and the gloop of the wormhole worms and he was fed the finest of paintings, the smoothest of statues, the crispiest of crayons, warm from the box.

3:35.0

Life was good. Bebop introduced his friend, the bubble ninja, to his fellow robots and they were surprised to learn of the little warriors daring deeds and his efforts to help Bebop.

3:48.0

Four weeks, Bebop regaled his brethren with tales of his heroics and his old friend, Whip, often sat by his side. Her language software had been repaired since Bebop had last seen her and she was now a great conversationalist and she had taken on a leadership role among percolator's robots.

And she told Bebop about what had happened in his homeland while he was gone. Things were not as rosy as they first appeared. Bebop didn't want to believe it at first but after some time he could see that it was true.

4:25.0

Dr. Percolator wasn't around much. He had welcomed Bebop or tiny as they still called him but as soon as the marimen began he was gone again. While the rest of the robots were listening to Bebop stories or laughing at Bebop stories or asking him to tell another of his really funny stories.

4:47.0

Dr. Percolator was down in his basement in his lab working on something. Nobody knew what.

4:58.0

He's been down there ever since you disappeared. Said Whip.

5:02.0

I really thought he would stop now that you're back but none of us can convince him to come up. If truth be told, Bebop hadn't sought the company of Dr. Percolator.

5:14.0

Though he knew it wasn't really him atop the towers and he couldn't blame the doctor for messing him pretending to be him and saying all of those terrible things.

5:23.0

The memory of it couldn't be erased so easily. It was like waking from a frightening nightmare and that fear from the dream lingered into the next day even though he knew it wasn't real.
