Some of the voicemails he was leaving me were suicide threats or self-harmed threats. One of them that I had answered was that he was standing on top of the bleachers in our stadium, and he was going to jump off if I didn't talk to him.

He was going to come self. And that really worried me, and I did reach out to my professor about that one because I was worried he was actually going to do that.

Other things he would follow me around campus, like I would see him outside of my classroom buildings, and there was one particular instance when I was working one night that he was waiting for me outside of my building.

I'm Jamie BB and I'm Jake Duptula. On today's episode of Strickly Stocking, we're speaking with Jeanette who is stocked by a college classmate.

Well, taking a camping in the wilderness class, Jeanette met a student who was being bullied by other classmates and befriended him.

For the class final, they hyped and camped on the Appalachian Trail in small groups, and the students got to know each other.

Soon after, the student started texting Jeanette, asking her to be his girlfriend and telling her he loved her.

She turned him down politely and let him know she was not interested, but he wouldn't stop contacting her.

He threatened suicide, followed her around campus, and reached out to her endlessly.

Jeanette went to her professor, who told her to ignore him, but things continued to escalate, and then he began showing up at her job.

After she called the police, his threats turned from self-harm to harming her. He even posted a message on Facebook offering money to anyone willing to strip Jeanette naked in public.

Of course. Why don't you tell us a little bit about your family life growing up?

So I grew up in Maryland, and my family just naturally is just super active.

So I feel like I had a really great, wholesome, active childhood. We traveled a lot. We did a lot of biking, hiking.
