0:11.0	This year we will fix our gaze upon Christ so that we may know
0:14.9	him, not only with our minds but with our hearts. Together we will learn that

0:22.0	Hey, hey, welcome back to a year in the Bible with Daily Grace.
0:27.0	My name is Katie and I am so glad to be here with you today.
0:30.0	We are reading through the Book of Acts together in a year-long reading plan
0:34.6	through the New Testament. Today we are studying Acts 3. Yesterday we saw the
0:40.4	disciples empowered by the Spirit to preach the gospel in languages that they had not learned.
0:45.9	And today we will see Jesus's power at work through a healing.
0:50.3	Before we jump into the details of the healing of the blind man in acts three
0:54.6	We must remember that Jesus had previously given the disciples the authority to heal all diseases on their own
1:01.6	Think about Luke 9. But this chapter again demonstrates that even
1:06.2	though he is no longer physically on earth, Jesus is continuing his ministry
1:11.4	through imperfect flawed human beings reconciled to God
1:15.7	through faith in him. Through sinners saved by grace Jesus would spread hope to
1:20.8	the ends of the earth. As Peter and John come to the ends of the earth.
1:23.0	As Peter and John come to the temple for prayer,
1:25.8	they lock eyes the man who is lame since birth.
1:29.4	You may pause here and think,
1:31.5	what are Peter and John doing in the temple? It's a good question.
1:35.0	It's wild to think that just over 40 days prior, they were cowering in fear locked away
