Summary

At this year's Colson Center National Conference, we sat down with Dr. Kristin Collier, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Director of the Program on Health, Spirituality, and Religion at the University of Michigan Medical School. Kristin shares how her faith has shaped her view of medicine, including how God speaks through the suffering and grief in her vocation to show that He suffers with us. She unpacks the temptation among physicians to see people as machines to fix, and shows us that rich theology helps us to see each person as an image bearer to care for.
