podcast studio with fellow Watermark staff member, Diane, Kirstead.

Hi, y'all.

Glad to have you here, Diane.

Would you share a little bit about what God has been doing in your life?

God used a tragic season of my life of my brother passing away in a car accident to bring me to himself.

I learn the love of Christ through someone inviting me to church

one day, telling me that God is good. And so I was trying to reconcile how could a good God take

someone I loved away? And through that, I asked God to give me clarity. And I felt a peace

overcome me that I didn't know. And I accepted Christ

into my life that day about 12 years ago. And so really exciting. I've been on the external

focus team for six and a half years. And that's just a fancy way of saying local and global

outreach mission. I love it. Diane, what is your favorite part of your job here?

Oh, gosh. I think my favorite part of my job is being able to see all the things that our church

does locally and globally. A lot of people can say, hey, Watermark isn't doing enough, but I feel like

that our members are doing so much

to care for the homeless, for those who are being trafficked,

for reaching the unreached.
