Summary

Today, Emma Dotter is joined by faithful Watermark member Scott Meyers to talk through Psalm 94. As we think about the atrocities that occurred on September 11th, 2001, we know well the effects of wickedness on the world. How does God's justice and presence bring comfort in a broken world? We see in Psalm 94 that God's response to evil is not distant or removed. He bring justice and redemption through the coming of His Son Jesus Christ.

0:11.2	Today, we are reading Psalm 94, and I am joined in the podcast studio with today's Devo writer, Scott Myers.

0:23.6	I know your sister-in-law, we figured out, right?

0:27.9	But today is my first time meeting you.
0:30.0	And so for myself and those who don't know you, would you share a little bit about what God's done in your life?
0:35.1	Yeah, absolutely. So I grew up in a Christian home, and at the age of
0:40.2	seven, I understood that my parents had a relationship with Jesus, and I wanted that too. And so
0:46.9	honestly, at this point, I don't remember how that full conversation occurred, but I do very much
0:53.5	remember a conversation with my mom
0:55.5	and that being really the point where I accepted Christ's free gift of grace. And that was something
1:03.3	that I definitely, from that point I can look at that and know that was when my relationship with
1:09.6	God and my faith began, and it really did
1:12.7	just continue to grow from that point into adulthood. And so I can definitely look at that clearly
1:21.1	as when it began. I will say that really part of my journey for over a 10-year period was a pretty substantial
1:33.2	struggle with pornography.
